Formed in 1945 as Pierson
& Tidball, the firm originally provided Civil/Structural and
Mechanical Engineering services. As time passed, the emphasis of work
became exclusively Structural. Upon the death of James G. (Jim)
Pierson in 1968, corporate status was assumed.
James G. Pierson, Inc. Consulting Structural Engineers strives to
meet client goals, desires, and budgets while providing quality
work and design. From schematic design through
construction completion, our team of engineers works diligently to
guide our clients toward successful solutions. We hold
ourselves to the highest of standards and take pride in staying
current on the technical aspects in the ever evolving world of
